NOTICE TO RESIDENTS IN THE AREA OF STATE STREET, TILE PLANT ROAD, WASHINGTON STREET, PORTIONS OF FOWLERS LANE, PORTIONS OF S. MAIN STREET AND  PORTIONS OF McKINLEY AVENUE.

The Village of New Lexington has contracted with IPWC, INC. To install liners and rehabilitate the sanitary sewers within your area. This work will be performed starting Tuesday, August 26, 2014, and will continue for the next few weeks.

During the sewer lining process your service connection may be temporarily closed off for a few hours and you may be asked to limit activities that utilize large volumes of water such as doing laundry, dish washing, flushing toilets, etc. However, every service lateral will be fully opened and back in service by the end of each work day.

While work is being performed you may detect a resin like odor; this is normal. If the odor becomes noticeable in your home please contact the Water & Sewer Department Office at 342-2552. To avoid these odors from entering your home, please keep your plumbing traps & floor drains filled with water.

Please notify the Water & Sewer Department Office at 342-2552 should any problems occur with your sewer service after the rehabilitation work is completed.
